Specialty: Hematology-Medical Oncology

Dr. Bane received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. His post-graduate education included an internal medicine internship and residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center and a fellowship in hematology-medical oncology, also at Wilford Hall. He holds specialty Board certification in internal medicine, hematology, medical oncology and hospice and palliative medicine.

At his practice at Hematology and Oncology of Dayton, Dr. Bane spends time getting to know each patient so that he may weigh the many treatment options to find the best fit for the individual. This careful attention allows the patient's goals and needs to directly shape his or her treatment plan. Included in his approach is the attitude that no concern is too small to address-patients must know that their entire wellness is the priority. As well, Hematology and Oncology of Dayton's collaborative, multidisciplinary approach means that he can coordinate with other care providers to ensure that the same level of quality is maintained through all levels of a treatment plan.
