Howard M. Gross, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Gross received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati Medical College in1976. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital (Cincinnati), followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Gross’s appointments include Clinical Professor of Medicine, Wright State University School of Medicine (Dayton, Ohio); Director of Oncology Clinic, Good Samaritan North Health Center (Dayton); and Principal Investigator, Dayton Clinical Oncology Program. He is associate Director of the Hematology / Oncology Fellowship Program of Wright State University School of Medicine.
Drawn to oncology by the opportunity to make an impact on patient’s daily lives, Dr. Gross finds continued enthusiasm for his specialty through promising advances in the field and close involvement with his patients. He keeps each patient informed and updated on his or her treatment, encouraging questions and input. Dr. Gross also recognizes that the impact of cancer treatment extends to a patient’s family and makes sure they much needed support as well. He is joined in his private practice by a team of board-certified physicians, who are actively involved in all levels of care. Patients are assured that they can always find a physician available to address their needs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gross enjoys an array of sports and family activities-all of which he looks forward to sharing with his patients.
